Bodhisattva Hu Khong Tang

The Void Tibetan Bodhisattva (Sanskrit: Akasagarbha Bodhisattva - Japanese: Kokuzo) is one of the eight great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism. His name represents wisdom as boundless as the space of the universe.

He repeated this mantra millions of times, after which he had a decisive spiritual experiences, including powerful visions of the Void. As Kukai chanted the mantra, he experienced a vision in which the Bodhisattva Void told him to come to China to learn about the Mahavairocana Sutra.
