Nguyen Phat Tri (born 1993) is currently a Hairstyle and Makeup Artist, living and working in City. Ho Chi Minh. Previously, Tri graduated with a major in Biotechnology (An Giang University) but fell in love with his current job.

Phat Tri is the creator of unique hairstyles based on volume and array techniques. These hairstyles were inspired by Tri from many different sources of inspiration such as the natural environment, movies, social trends... and have attracted the interest of many people. Many foreign magazines and news sites such as SCMP, Brightside, Oddity, Bored Panda also published his works and received positive comments.

Tri shared: “People often jokingly ask me why I am a Biotechnology engineer and have such a "related" profession, because I realize that I have been talented and passionate about art since I was young. After graduating from university, I chose to study photography, makeup and hairstyling. Up to now, I have been most successful in the field of hair styling and have been welcomed by everyone for the unique hairstyles I create. "

Each hairstyle Tri creates can only be achieved in a few short minutes in clips or photos he takes, but it takes a lot of time and effort to make. Tri's process of creating a work goes through many steps from getting an idea, implementing that idea by sketching on paper, making supporting materials and accompanying accessories. Then, he does the hair styling on the mannequin or model, applies makeup to the model, and the final step is adding costumes. Depending on the difficulty, some models take Tri 1-2 days to make, but others take up to 2-3 months to complete. But they all have to go through five basic steps, from design sketch; layout calculation; shaping; to finding materials and accessories; and finally styling on real hair.

Receiving many customer orders, but most of Tri had to refuse because he wanted to spend more time on teaching and creative research, even though the price for making flowers in hair was many times higher than the normal price, due to the time consumption. , effort and creativity.

After more than 7 years of pursuing the profession and gaining a lot of experience for himself, Tri now wants to focus on teaching and vocational training to inspire people with the same passion.
