Bui Vi Hao, born in 2003, is a talented young player in Vietnamese football. He is currently a professional football player playing as a striker for Becamex Binh Duong club and the national team Vietnam. Although he is only 21 years old, he has had an admirable achievement when he was included in the nomination list for the 2024 Vietnam Golden Ball title and was also named in the "Best Young Player of 2024" category. div>
Bui Vi Hao started his career as a professional football player at An Giang Club. There, he scored 3 goals of his own, helping U19 An Giang reach the semi-finals. With impressive performance, he was asked by PVF to borrow to play in the 2nd National Division in 2021. Also in 2021, Vi Hao was called up to U19 Vietnam, where he played impressively.
In 2022, Bui Vi proudly joined Becamex Binh Duong's youth team and became the team captain at the 2022 National U19 finals. Here he continued to shine. He was bright and caught the eye of Becamex Binh Duong club coach, and then he was called up to play for Becames Binh Duong, playing in the V. League. Also in 2022, he won the title of top scorer of the 2022 National U21 Championship.
Bui Vi Hao was part of the Vietnam U23 squad preparing for two consecutive SEA Games, the SEA Games 31 and SEA Games 32. Next, he and U23 Vietnam were crowned Southeast Asian champions and are currently participating in the 2024 U23 Asian Finals. He is also one of the prominent names of U23 Vietnam and is valued the highest by transfer site Transfermarkt among U23 Vietnam (125,000 euros).
After success at U23 Vi Hao was named in the list Vietnam team book. He appeared in the matches against Russia and Thailand. Although he only played the last 20 minutes of each match, Vi Hao's performance brought satisfaction to coach Kim Sang-sik. And was chosen by this coach to participate in ASEAN Cup 2024. Currently, 21-year-old young talent Bui Vi Hao is in the top Vietnamese players with the most playing minutes after the group stage of ASEAN Cup 2024. He started 5 out of 6 matches, played a total of 330 minutes, third most on the team (behind only Hoang Duc and Thanh Chung).
