Who is Historians Mercy Otis Warren?
A revolutionary American period author of history, propaganda, and political satire, she is best known for her multi-volume work, A History of the Rise, Progress, and End of American Revolution (1805). This is an account of the first history of the American Revolution written by a woman.
She authored a book in 1788 under the pseudonym of "A Patriot Columbus." In this pamphlet, she called for the inclusion of the Bill of Rights in the Constitution.
