The final night of "Project Runway Vietnam" season 3 features the competition of the top 3 best designers, bringing the audience the most sublime fashion moments. Thanks to his talent and spectacular breakthrough, Nguyen Tien Truyen overcame 2 heavyweights to be crowned the Champion of "Project Runway Vietnam". Right from the start of the contest, Nguyen Tien Truyen has been noticed for his good looks and cold personality. He is favored by everyone as "the hotboy of the common house". Recently, on the plane to welcome back U23 Vietnam players. The historic journey at the U23 Asian finals on January 28 took place a bikini show. This performance was mostly criticized by the public for being insensitive, even offensive. In particular, the white bikini "burns eyes" performed by model Lai Thanh Huong. Many people have recognized that the bikini is designed by Nguyen Tien Truyen. Later, Tien Truyen explained on his personal page that the appearance of that provocative outfit was completely out of his control. Designer Nguyen Tien Truyen said that the bikini that Lai Thanh Huong wore was originally designed by him for calendar photography activities, but was used by VietJet Air on the return flight from Changzhou of Vietnam U23. Tien Truyen himself was very upset and angry when the outfit he designed was used for the wrong purpose, creating too much objection. Tien Truyen said that if he was asked to design for such an important and historic event, he would suggest choosing the Ao Dai with red flags with yellow stars or designing costumes with a national spirit full of enthusiasm, not never let such an outfit appear in this proud event.

Tien Truyen was born and raised in a family with a farming tradition, but since childhood, he has been passionate about fashion. Tien Truyen decided to pursue his passion by studying fashion design at Hoa Sen University. Although his family situation is not well-off, his relatives support his decision. During her studies, Tien Truyen also won a number of awards, most notably Idea 2012 in the fashion design competition of Hutech Designer.
