American professional player Former soccer player who is best known for his tenure as quarterback for the University of Florida football team. He played for the Gators between 1993 and 1996. In 1996, as a senior, he won the Heisman Trophy as the nation's best college football player.
He was selected in the 4th round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. He played for them for three seasons, from 1997 to 1999. He then spent a year with the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Washington Redskins. retired until the end of the 2002 season.
