The Mexico national football team, known in Spanish as Selección de fútbol de México, is a football team that currently represents Mexico, and is managed by the Mexican Football Federation (Federación Mexicana de Fútbol). This team competes as a member of CONCACAF. The current head coach of this team is Mr. Andrés Guardado player currently the captain of the Mexican national team.

The Mexico national football team, known in Spanish as Selección de fútbol de México, is a football team that currently represents Mexico, and is managed by the Mexican Football Federation (Federación Mexicana de Fútbol). This team competes as a member of CONCACAF. The current head coach of this team is Mr. Andrés Guardado player currently the captain of the Mexican national team.
Since 1994, they have qualified for 17 World Cups, becoming one of only six countries to achieve this. The national teams of Mexico and Brazil are the only two countries that have qualified for the group stage in the last seven World Cups. In the history of competing in World Cups, the best achievement that Mexico has achieved is reaching the quarter-finals of the 1970 and 1986 World Cups. Both of these World Cups Mexico is the host. In the CONCACAF region, Mexico is the most successful national team, having won 11 confederation titles, including 8 CONCACAF Gold Cups, 3 CONCACAF Championships (precursor of the Gold Cup). In addition, they won 2 NAFC Championships, one North American Cup of Nations, 2 gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games, and 1 CONCACAF Cup. The Mexican national team is one of only eight national teams to have won two of the three most important football tournaments in the world, the Confederations Cup, the Summer Olympics and the World Cup, after winning the FIFA Confederations Cup. in 1999 and the Summer Olympics in 2012. It is also the only national team from the CONCACAF region to win an official FIFA World Cup tournament, winning the Confederations Cup in 1999. Although Mexico is a member of CONCACAF, they received regular invitations to the Copa América from 1993 to 2016. In the history of competing in the Copa América, Mexico has won the place twice. Runner-up (1993 and 2001), three-time third-place finisher.
Mexico's three-color kit includes a green shirt and red socks. and white shorts. These are also the three colors on the national flag of Mexico. Until the mid-1950s, this team mainly wore maroon kits with dark blue or black shorts. The Adidas brand released a new all-black ensemble for the Mexican team and in 2015, but the green, white and red are still the highlight.
