Ngo Thua An, whose name is Xa Duong Son Nhan, alias Nhu Trung, is a Chinese novelist, writer, and poet who lived under the Ming Dynasty.
He was born into a family of small merchants, but has a hobby of hoarding books. His grandfather and father were both officials who passed the entrance exams. He studied at Nanjing Thai Hoc School for more than 10 years. Legend has it that since childhood, Ngo Thua An was very passionate about fairy tales and monsters.
