Chuang Tzu, whose name is Mong Lai, Mong Tau or Mong Trang, is a Taoist philosopher and author. His real name was Zhuang Chu, his works were later called Chuang Tzu. He lived in the Warring States period, the peak period of Chinese philosophical thought and the Bach Gia Zhuzi. Chuang Tzu died in 287 BC.
The earliest document to record Chuang Tzu is the "History" by Si Ma Thien. According to Sima Thien, who wrote about Chuang Tzu, he was a Hmong, worked as an official in Vuon Son (Tat Vien), then lived a reclusive life until the end of his life. But what is certain is that Chuang Tzu lived at the same time as King Qi Xuan, King Liang Hui, and Mencius. The Mong land was confirmed to be located in the territory of the Song land, in the territory of Ha Nam province - present-day China. Chuang Tzu was one of the first-rate thinkers of his time, a very good storyteller, with a very rich imagination. Chuang Tzu's spirit is similar to the basic thought of Taoism, hidden but generous, returning to natural life, not wanting to compete for rights, avoiding the consequences of society.
According to the Dictionary of Chinese Idioms, Nanhua is a mountain in Cao Chau in the ancient Song state. Legend has it that when Chuang Tzu returned to the foot of Nanhua Mountain to hide, he brought all the quintessence of Taoism of Lao Tzu Writing into a set of books and taking the name of Nanhua mountain to name it "Nam Hoa Kinh", later people called it "Book of Chuang Tzu". The literature in the "Nam Hoa Kinh" has many rhythms, the lyrics are smooth and fluent, and many historical sentences use the magic of diametrical magic, which greatly influenced later poets such as Son Dao, Ke Khang, and Nguyen Tich. ... According to the book "Han Thu Nghe Van Chi", the "Nam Hoa Kinh" has 55 tians, but so far there are only 33. The translations of the "Nam Hoa Kinh" are relatively popular in Vietnam today. by Nguyen Duy Can, Nhuong Tong, Nguyen Ton Nhan, and Nguyen Hien Le.
Trang Tu inherits the ancient philosophical tradition of China, the principle of Chuang Tu is to have words for the sake of your mind, and to have your thoughts forgotten. Thus, his philosophical thought has a simple expression but is also quite mysterious, half bright, half dark, felt but cannot be expressed in words. " by Lao Tzu, but he always focused on promoting himself in life rather than contemplation.
