Who is Philosophers Trang Tu?
Chuang Tzu, whose name is Mong Lai, Mong Tau or Mong Trang, is a Taoist philosopher and author. His real name was Zhuang Chu, his works were later called Chuang Tzu. He lived in the Warring States period, the peak period of Chinese philosophical thought and the Bach Gia Zhuzi. Chuang Tzu died in 287 BC.
The earliest document to record Chuang Tzu is the "History" by Si Ma Thien. According to Sima Thien, who wrote about Chuang Tzu, he was a Hmong, worked as an official in Vuon Son (Tat Vien), then lived a reclusive life until the end of his life.
