Mr. Li Hongzhi (Traditional Chinese is 李洪志, pinyin is Lǐ Hòzhì) is the founder of Falun Dafa b> (also known as Falun Gong). On May 13, 1992, he introduced Falun Gong, a Buddhist qigong practice, to people in Changchun City, China. From 1992 to 1994, he traveled around China to teach Falun Gong.
On March 13, 1995, Mr. Li opened a lecture course in Paris at the Chinese embassy, according to invitation of the Chinese ambassador to France. Then he went to Sweden, and other countries. In addition to the lecture form, Falun Gong was mainly introduced to people all over the world and translated through books, video tapes and audio recordings.
