Best known as a member of the symphonic metal group Epica, this mezzo-soprano vocalist recorded six albums with the band between 2003 and 2014, singing vocals on singles like "The Phantom Agony," "Cry," for the Moon", and "storm Sorrow".
She joined Epica in 2002, having been recruited by then her boyfriend, guitarist Mark Jansen.
