In early 2013, he founded his own record label REMember Music- his own label, Mac Miller's second album "Watching Movies with the Sound Off" was released on June 18, 2013. In January 2014, he announced that he was no longer collaborating with Rostrum Records. In October of the same year, he signed a recording contract for himself and his record label REMember, with Warner Bros. Records. He is also a record producer under the pseudonym Larry Fisherman, producing music for SZA, Ab-Soul, Vince Staples, Lil B, Smoke DZA, Riff Raff, and himself.
Recently, the Los Angeles County Forensic Clinic informed USA Today that rapper Mac Miller had passed away at the age of 26. He was found unconscious at his home. in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, USA on the morning of September 7. According to TMZ, many sources believe that he died from an overdose of stimulant drugs. However, the investigating agency is continuing to investigate the cause of the rapper's death. His family also sent a statement to the Associated Press about his death, however, they declined to divulge any further information.
