B2K started when music manager Chris Stokes approached Omarion at a Christmas Eve party 1999 New Year's Eve and presented his idea of a "Boys of the New Millennium" band with Omarion as lead singer.
He was born to Leslie Burrell and Trent Grandberry is the oldest of seven children including singer O'Ryan. He had his first child, a son named Megaa, with his girlfriend Apryl Jones in August 2014.
