Born Aurelien Cotentin and best known as "Orelsan," this French hip-hop artist and music producer became known for his work with a rap group called Casseurs Flowters. Also a popular solo artist, he released Le Chant des Sirenes and other albums.
The apparently misogynistic themes of some of his songs have prompted a great deal of controversy, and in 2013, led to legal action against him.
