Although he entered the singing profession a long time ago more than 10 years ago, but as a singer he is a rather strange name for the audience as well. like in the Vietnamese music industry though, he strangely made a lot of impressions with many community music projects
As one of the singers selected for the Talent Center in the years 1999 - 2000 along with many famous singers such as singer Ung Hoang Phuc, singer Nguyen Phi Hung, singer Van Thanh Tung (Quoc Thanh Danh). With the desire to train to become an exclusive singer, at that time he was not given many conditions, but this center only focused on singers Nguyen Phi Hung; he and many other singers did not have the opportunity to shine, that's why he and many others chose to leave the center to find a new path for their career.
However. After a while because of economic problems, the young male singer-songwriter had to suspend all his musical activities to turn to another direction as well as to have better economic conditions. Although he has not been able to perform on stage for many years, male singer Dong Duy still tries to spend time every day practicing singing to maintain his voice; at the same time he still occasionally composes a few songs. After two years of cherishing his musical project, in 2009 he returned to the stage with the making of his debut album titled Return. This is also his return to music after years of separation; This album of his is mainly composed by himself, including 10 songs about romantic love stories with pop colors and Canto pop colors.
