Best known to film critics for her award-winning Australian matchmaker performance in the 2011 film Burning Man and for her role as Randa's award-winning Australian Film Institute in the Australian miniseries Mark Time. She also appeared in the American film Shameless and the Australian series Rake.
A stage performer as well as a screen actress, she appeared in productions at the Sydney and Melbourne Theater companies and formed a performance troupe called the Ride On Theatre.

She was born in her family's native Belgrade, Serbia (then Yugoslavia) and mainly raised in Australia. Her younger sister Valentina also had a successful acting career, most notably playing Natasha Williams on the soap opera Neighborhood.
