Businessmen Tran Duy Hy

Tran Duy Hy graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Polytechnic University. With business acumen, at the age of 28, Mr. Duy Hy founded Duy Tan Plastic Manufacturing Corporation. Initially going into production, the company made plastic containers for detergents and personal hygiene products. By 1990, with his business acumen, he realized that our country's household plastic market was growing strongly, taking advantage of the efficiency of machines, so he produced more household appliances.

At first, there were many difficulties in designing samples and selling goods because the goods were only sold in the market. But not afraid of hardships, Mr. Hy diligently read and researched about the plastic industry, and only went abroad to attend fairs. I took pictures with my phone everywhere, even in the trash, and then went home to research how to produce it. Thanks to the rapid updating of many beautifully designed products, Duy Tan Plastic has now taken the lead in the household plastic segment. After 30 years of continuous efforts, he has now brought the name Duy Tan plastic to not only domestic but also international customers.

In 2011, Mr. Tran Duy Hy Realizing that the US market has potential, Duy Tan Plastics bought a cool house to supply packaging for brands here. The enterprise currently has 5 factories, more than 3,000 household - industrial - packaging products, nationwide distribution and export to more than 60 international markets.

In 2020, his Duy Tan plastic company was the only representative in the household plastic industry to be on the list of the 50 most valuable brands in Vietnam. Duy Tan Plastic brand has been recognized by Forbes Vietnam as worth 20.4 million USD. In addition, Duy Tan Plastic has been in the Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) for 12 years, and has won the High Quality Vietnamese Goods award for many years.
