Master Thich Chan Quang was born into a family with a patriotic tradition. From a young age, he had a good root for Buddhism, so he always wanted to become a monk. In 1980, he ordained and studied under the Venerable Thich Thanh Tu at Thuong Chieu Zen Monastery. After that, he had a relationship with Most Venerable Thich Hue (abbot of Hue Quang Monastery in Ho Chi Minh City) became a disciple and directly taught.
In 1984, Master Thich Chan Quang officially ordained a bhikkhu. In 2007, Venerable Thich Chan Quan was officially ordained as Venerable Master.
To date, he has given more than 2,000 different Dharma lectures on many topics in society. Thanks to his extensive knowledge accumulated and constantly updating information on many areas of life and Buddhist background, every lecture of the teacher makes listeners admire. The way he communicates in simple, simple words and close to the public makes his lectures easier to listen to and absorb. Most Venerable Thich Chan Quang is the first Buddhist teacher to give sermons at the Hanoi Opera House and the Temple of Literature in front of a large number of Buddhists.
