The world gymnastics champion who won a silver medal was a member of the US team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She continued to dominate in the 2013 and 2014 NCAA championships while attending the University of Florida, winning gold in all-around, balance beam, bar and uneven team events.
In 2013, she became only the fourth freshman to win the Honda Sports Award as the best female collegiate gymnast in the country.
