Best known as a singer, guitarist, and co-founder of the German folk band Milky Chance. The band released "stealing Dance," the first number one single, in early 2013. Shortly after its fall 2013 release, Milky Chance's debut album, Sadnecessary, rose to 15 spots. at the top of the German music charts.
His first full-length recorded band received the 2.015 European Border Breakers Award for Best Album.
