Que Ngoc Hai is a Vietnamese football player who currently plays for Song Lam Nghe An club with the Vietnam national team. He made an impression when he scored the first goal in a draw with Indonesia at the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup. He was the captain of the U23 Vietnam team participating in the 28 Sea games held in Singapore. He is considered a versatile player he is not only good at central defender but he is also a good player at right back and central midfielder.

When he was in 5th grade, Song Lam Nghe An team returned to his hometown to find football talent, seeing that his friends were having fun, he joined his brother to participate in the competition. Both he and his brother Ngoc Manh were accepted into the team's gifted team. After that, his older brother suffered a severe knee injury, and he was dropped from the U15 team. To encourage his brother, he practiced hard every day to get the progress he is today. His career in the early years was not very prominent when in 2013 he was picked up by coach Huu Thang as a defender for the V-league season. Because the team has up to 4 players in the position of central defender, it was not until the SHB match that he had his first football match in the V-league, but he played in the central midfield position instead of the injured Hoang Thinh. In many other matches, he continued to play more and was officially admitted to Song Lam Nghe An team after being considered by the coach. He is constantly improving he not only replaces Huy Hoang's position as a steel centre-back, but he is also a selected player for the national team to compete in the Olympics.
On September 13, 2015, In the match between Song Lam Nghe An team and SHB Da Nang in the 25th round of the V-League, he seriously injured player Tran Anh Khoa and took a year off playing with that. is Anh Khoa after being diagnosed he only has a 50 % chance of returning to the pitch. From this result, he was suspended by VFF for 6 months and had to take care of all the treatment costs for Anh Khoa player.
