Ben Hogan won nine Majors in his career. In 1953, Ben Hogan went down in PGA history when he won 5 of 6 major tournaments with 3 consecutive Majors.
In 1938, Ben Hogan won his first title at the Hershey Four-Ball. Although it was a small title, this was a step to create momentum for his resounding successes later.

In 1995, Ben Hogan underwent surgery for bowel cancer and suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He died at the age of 84 at his home.
From the age of 9, Hogan suffered infinite pain when his father committed suicide. To help his mother, Hogan sells newspapers. At the age of 12, he asked for a ball and received 65 cents a round at the Country Club Glen Garden. In his spare time, he began to practice golf. Although he was left-handed, he persevered in practicing right-handed. He spent hours every day practicing his drivers.
