Byron Nelson is considered one of the greatest golfers of all time, the king of golf. During his career Byron Nelson won a total of 52 PGA titles, the sixth most of all time.
Byron Nelson played golf professionally in 1932 with the goal of making money running a farm.

In 1937, Byron Nelson won the title of The Master - the first major title of his career. In the tournament, he set a record with only 66 strokes, a record for the fewest strokes that lasted until 1976.
In 1939, Byron Nelson won The US Open.
In 1940, Byron Nelson won the PGA Championship.
In 1942, Byron Nelson won The Masters for the second time.
In 1945, Byron Nelson won 18 of 35 PGA tournaments, including 11 in a row. This is a record that no golfer has ever broken.
