Who is Novelist Jacob Grimm?
Half of the Brothers Grimm, he and his brother Wilhelm co-authored fairy tales like Hansel and Gretel and Snow White. His most famous works include Kinder-und Hausmärchen (Grimm's Tales) and Deutsche Mythologie. A noted philosopher, in addition to a mythologist, he also published the Deutsches Wörterbuch, a comprehensive German dictionary.
He taught at the University of Berlin as early as 1840.
