He promoted a change in psychology through his lecture "Psychology as the Behaviorist Views it", which was given at Columbia University in 1913. Through the behaviorist approach, he conduct research on animal behavior, parenting. In addition, he conducted the controversial experiment "Little Albert" and Kerplunk. Watson was also editor of Psychological Review from 1910-1915. Watson's "Review of General Psychology" published in 2002 helped him climb to number 17 on the list of the most famous psychologists of the 20th century.
