Cai Luong artist Minh Truong's full name is Nguyen Minh Truong, Minh Truong was born in 1983 in Kien Giang, Vietnam. He is the winner of the 2014 TV Golden Bell Vong Co championship.
Minh Truong is the son of Meritorious Artist Hoai Son, who worked at the Dong Thap Literature Troupe, his mother is an accountant of the Dong Thap Literature Troupe. From a young age, Minh Truong was often borrowed by musicians as a singer to practice the instrument. Although he is a child of good family, Minh Truong's passion for Cai Luong has not yet manifested. His family wanted him to become a doctor or engineer, but with artistic blood in him, he chose to become a dancer and singer.
In the years 2001 - 2002, he danced and taught some famous students like Huynh Men. He was also a dancer for singers and joined a singing group. Minh Truong opened up about the difficult time when he first started his career: "I sang and found that being a singer, the competition in the profession was too great. The number of singers singing new music is very large, compared to 1 artist in Cai Luong, there will be 100 in music. I gave up and went to school to study hotel and restaurant management, working for a Phu Quoc hotel.
It seemed like he had gone very far with his ancestors' career, but suddenly Minh Truong returned to the stage from unexpected turns. In 2011, he registered for the Alluvial Sun Drops contest with the mindset of "coming from a family to sing" but gradually he realized his love for Cai Luong. That year, he received an invitation from author Hoang Song Viet to collaborate with the Enlighten the Faith troupe of Tran Huu Trang Theater. Although he is a "newbie", he is fortunate to be taught by his brothers and sisters. Minh Truong tries to learn every day, because he does not want to get lost or be left behind.
From the young actor of the Enlighten the Faith troupe, Minh Truong participated in many playgrounds and "competed hard to win" with achievements: Champion of the 2011 Alluvial Sundrops contest, first prize of the 2011 Golden Rice Contest, medal Silver medal of the 2012 National Young Talent Award, golden bell of the Vong Co Golden Bell contest 2014, third prize of Convergence Essence 2018... These are all dream awards of young artists.
After a long period of 10 years, struggling to find a direction, Vong Co fishing was the fate that helped Minh Truong return to his ancestors' career. He gradually gained a certain place in the hearts of the audience through his plays and became one of the most beautiful actors in the generation of young artists.
