Best known as the lead singer and keyboardist of the post-Hardcore band Silverstein, he has recorded several Billboard 200 albums with the group, including Exploring Waterfront (2005), Arrivals & Departures (2007), and A Shipwreck in sand (2009), all of which rose to Billboard Top 40 and top 5 Indie albums.
He and his bandmates participated in the 2015 Vans Warped Tour and released their eighth album, I Am Alive in Everything I Touch, the same year.

He and his bandmates formed Silverstein in early 2000 and released their debut EP, Stellar Gaze Summer, in August of that year. The band's first studio album, when broken is easily fixed, came out in 2003.
He spent his early years in Scarborough, Toronto, Canada. Silverstein his "family" band includes guitarist Josh Bradford, drummer Paul Koehler, bassist Billy Hamilton, and guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau. He began dating Nia Pavesi.
