Nhat Hao is a name that is no longer strange to Vietnamese audiences. He is a singer at the same time as many famous artists such as Minh Thuan, Canh Han, Sy Ben, Tu Linh.... and son of musician Nhat Bang.
Singer Nhat Bang started his singing career when he joined the Cultural House of District 5-Tp. Ho Chi Minh. He has two Chinese-Vietnamese bloodlines, so he often sings Chinese songs and international songs translated into Vietnamese. In the 1990s, Nhat Hao and artist Minh Thuan were a famous couple who had many songs that were loved by the audience. The image of two romantic singers, with long hair and youthful style, performing Chinese songs with Vietnamese lyrics such as "Sweet Pain", "Repentance"... as always imprinted in the hearts of the audience. Nhat Hao and Minh Thuan started playing together in 1986, after they joined the student singing movement at City Ho Chi Minh. At first, both sisters sang songs about revolution and tradition, but once by chance a friend lent a Chinese music CD, seeing Hong Kong singers performing, both were very interested and decided to sing Chinese songs with Vietnamese lyrics. Their reckless decision changed their lives, bringing the name of the second case closer to the public.
Later, Nhat Hao moved to the US to live while Minh Thuan remained in Vietnam to do art activities. In the US, when he heard that his brother was seriously ill, Nhat Hao bought a ticket and planned to visit Minh Thuan, but later heard from Minh Thuan's family that his health was improving. But then he received bad news, the male singer could not contain his emotions, he burst into tears when he returned to Vietnam.
