Doan Kien Quoc used to be the number 1 athlete of Vietnamese table tennis with impressive achievements he won: National championship, SEA Games men's doubles champion and the only athlete of Vietnamese table tennis twice participating. attended the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
Doan Kien Quoc was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister. Three times as the national typical athlete in 1996, 2004, 2008.
In 2004, Doan Kien Quoc excellently won the championship at the Athlete's Selection tournament to attend the Athens Olympics and won the only ticket to attend the World At the 23rd SEA Games in 2005, Doan Kien Quoc won silver in the men's team after losing to Singapore in the final match.
At the selection tournament for table tennis players to attend the Beijing Olympics, Doan was Kien Quoc won the championship to participate in the Olympics for the second time in a row. Doan Kien Quoc's performance at the Olympics is also very impressive.

When he was only 5 years old, Doan Kien Quoc was introduced to table tennis by his family. Although he was in kindergarten, Kien Quoc was extremely passionate and diligent.
In 1986, when he was in grade 1 at Vinh Nguyen Primary School, Kien Quoc represented the school to attend the citywide Phu Dong Health Association. Doan Kien Quoc in turn defeated the seed rackets to win the first gold medal, including those who are in grade 5.
In 3rd grade, Doan Kien Quoc was called to Khanh Hoa province's gifted school.

Quoc's parents are Mr and Mrs Doan Tinh - Pham Thi Thanh, both of whom are originally from Binh Dinh gathered to the North. In 1977, he moved back to work as a lecturer in the radio department at the Naval Academy and she worked as a school teacher. /bb4g">Bui Thi Xuan, Vinh Nguyen ward, Nha Trang.
February 15/ 2012, Kien Quoc got married with Ngoc Thao his girlfriend from the same hometown of Nha Trang after 7 years of being together. After the wedding, the couple temporarily moved from Nha Trang to Hanoi to live in order to facilitate the competition for the Oil and Gas Group Club and complete the school program at the University of Physical Education and Sports Bac Ninh.
