The achievement of 24 Grand Slam women's singles titles, 40 Grand Slam doubles titles is an unprecedented achievement ever. Even in 1970, Margaret Court was the first player in the Open era (the second in history) to win all four Grand Slams. Also in 1970, was inducted into the World Tennis Hall of Fame.
January 2003, the number 1 court in the entertainment complex Melbourne Park was renamed after Mrs. Margaret Court Arena.
