He won Best Comedy Show at the New Zealand TV Awards twice for Powder Sport, in addition to being named the funniest person on television in 2009 at the People's Choice Awards on television.
He co-founded the New Zealand political party called Bill and Ben Party which ran for government in 2008, finishing 9 of 19 in the 2008 New Zealand general election. He hosted the award ceremony. New Zealand Music in 2011 and 2012.
