Doan Thi Ngoc Le is the only female player of the Hanoi Billiards team. Ngoc Le's most significant achievement is winning the gold medal of the National Billiards Championship - Snooker for 4 consecutive years, the bronze medal at the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar in 2013.
In 2004, Doan Thi Ngoc Le applied to join the Hanoi Billiards team. The absence of female teammates is a rare opportunity for Ngoc Le because she can compete with male teammates. From being handicapped but still losing heavily until now, many male colleagues have to be wary of her.
In 2005, the first national championship had women's content, Doan Thi Ngoc Le won silver in 9-ball pool, behind Thanh Giang. of Ho Chi Minh City has been practicing well before you.
In 2006, after exactly 1 year, Doan Thi Ngoc Le defeated Thanh Giang to become the champion. Since then, Ngoc Le has been considered "the No. 1 female masterpiece" of Vietnamese billiards.
The bronze medal at the 2013 SEA Games is more precious than pure gold. This is considered a historic achievement for Ngoc Le when so far, only two Vietnamese women's billiards have ever won international medals.

Doan Thi Ngoc Le practiced playing Billiards in 6th grade with a brother in the neighborhood. As a student at Hanoi Tourism College, Ngoc Le became acquainted with professional billiards players. Ngoc Le herself went to Hang Day yard to meet coach Le Trong Ngoc to try.
Up to 5 years, Ngoc Le became a top player but her family did not know. It was not until the television broadcast a match of Ngoc Le in the national championship that the whole family knew and understood her passion.

Billiards not only brings Ngoc Le fame and career but also private happiness. Doan Thi Ngoc Le has a beautiful love so she has a co-worker. Only regret that her family happiness is not complete. She did not accept to lose her fighting career that she had sweated and cried for many years. Currently, Doan Thi Ngoc Le is living with her daughter Le Ngoc Ly.
