- 3rd place in the My Tho Golden Generation Billiards Libre tournament in 2014
- Winning the Carom Libre tournament with 32 outstanding players in Vietnam at Dong Thap in 2017
- Winning the national Open Carom Libre Billiards tournament competing for the 2018 KTS Club Cup, winning the award for best player in the tournament. In particular, he set an unprecedented record in the final match to score 300 points in just 24 minutes
- Winning the Carom libre top 16 Vietnam tournament in 2018 at No. 1 Billiards Club - Go Vap, won the tournament's best player award with a series of 385 points
- Winned the 2019 nationwide Cadre 47/2 open billiards tournament at billiards club No. 1
To achieve this impressive achievement, Thinh Kent went through many difficulties. After graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, he became an English teacher. However, his passion for billiards made him give up a stable job to become a professional billiards player. His decision faced strong opposition from his parents. Even though he did not have the support of his relatives, he was still determined to pursue his passion and has been involved with billiards since 2005 until now. He always thinks "If you think positively, everything will be positive". Thinh Kent was fortunate to be guided by the famous player Truong Rau and passed on many valuable experiences.
