Who is War hero Gary Gordon?
United States Army Sergeant remembered for his bravery in protecting those on board a Black Hawk helicopter that was downed during the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. He received a posthumous medal of Honor for his actions in 1994. His actions at the Battle of Mogadishu were detailed in Mark Bowden's book Black Hawk Down and, later, there, an Oscar-winning film of the same name.
