Artist Ha Thi Cau's birth name is Ha Thi Nam, born in Yen Phu, Y Yen, Nam Dinh province. During difficult economic years, artisan Ha Thi Cau always followed the art of Xam singing. In 2004, artisan Ha Thi Cau was awarded the title of Folk Artist by the Vietnam Folk Arts Association and was awarded the title of Excellent Artist by the State of Vietnam.
On 03/03/2013, artist Ha Thi Cau passed away at Ninh Binh, at the age of 85.
