Who is Band Exid?
EXID is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012 by AB Entertainment. EXID stands for "Exceed In Dreaming" (meaning Beyond Dreams). EXID debuted on February 16, 2012 with a lineup of 6 members Dami, LE, Hani, Jeonghwa, Haeryung, Yuji. EXID's debut digital single is "Holla". Two months after debut, three members Dami, Yuji, Haeryung left the group and were replaced by Solji and Hyelin.
In August 2012, EXID released their first EP "Hippity Hop" with a 5-member lineup.
On August 24, 2014, EXID held a showcase at Ilchi Art Hall, performing the new song "" Up & Down". EXID became more known to the audience after the single "Up& Down" unexpectedly peaked at number one on Gaon's singles chart four months after its release.

- LE (real name Ahn Hyo Jin born on December 10, 1991) Role in the group: Main rapper, musician. LE comes from an Underground Rapper. She is a musician who composed many famous songs "Trouble Maker", "Up& Down".
- Hani (real name Ahn Hee Yeon born on May 1, 1992) Role in the group: Lead vocalist . real Park Junghwa (born on May 8, 1995) roles in the group: Main vocal, Visual, sub vocal, sub Rap. JungHwa once appeared in the MV "Tell me" of Wonder Girls.
In May 2011, music producer Shinsadong Tiger and AB Entertainment recruited some former trainees of JYP Entertainment to form a new group. Yuzi was the first trainee of a JYP Entertainment girl group that didn't debut and contacted the other members to audition.
The group's original name was WT (short for Who's That), then changed to EXID.
The group EXID was scheduled to debut in January 2012 but had to be postponed due to LE's leg injury.
February 3, 2012, AB Entertainment announced the group. EXID music will debut with the single "Whoz That Girl".
