Vie Channel - HTV2 is a cooperative channel between Vie Channel Joint Stock Company under DatVietVAC Group Holdings and the Editorial Board of Digital & Cable TV channels under Ho Chi Minh City Television Station. Vie Channel - HTV2 brings exciting and new entertainment content with entertainment programs that are most loved by audiences nationwide such as: Rap Viet, Masked Singer, Super Intelligence, Fast as Lightning, Brother Says Hi... Youtube Vie Channel - HTV2 is one of the Youtube channels with many subscribers most in Vietnam (more than 11 million subscribers).

Previously, HTV2 was a general sports channel, piloted on air since October 2003, officially broadcast in November 2003. On May 5, 2008, HTV2 transformed into an entertainment channel but did not have a license, so after only one year it returned to being a sports channel. In 2010, HTV2 officially became a general entertainment channel.

From November 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014, HTV2 channel was broadcast on VCTV's system (now VTVCab).

From March 13, 2013 , HTV2 channel is broadcast on the SCTV Cable Television system.

From July 15, 2013 to November 30, 2014, HTV2 channel was broadcast on K+ system.

From July 1, 2014, HTV2 channel was broadcast again on VTVcab's system.

From July 15, 2014, HTV2 channel was broadcast on the system of VTC.

From December 1, 2014, HTV2 channel was broadcast again on K+ system.

On September 19, 2018, HTV cooperated with the company Vie Channel Joint Stock Company to develop its own brand identity, Vie Channel - HTV2.

From April 10, 2019, HTV2 - Vie Channel officially switched to broadcasting with a frame rate of 4: 3 to 16: 9.

Vie Channel - HTV2 appeared on the Youtube platform since 2012, quickly gaining wide coverage with many attractive programs.
