Who is Band Exo?
EXO is one of the most powerful groups in Korea today. Every time EXO's new song comes out, it immediately monopolizes the No. 1 on all the prestigious music charts in Korea and won trophies on music shows. Therefore, when it comes to EXO, fans immediately think of "King of music charts", "King of awards", "King of album sales". EXO is the first group in history to win the "Album of the Year" Daesang Award 3 years in a row.
EXO officially debuted on April 8, 2012. EXO is a twin boy group formed by SM Entertainment consisting of 12 members divided into 2 subgroups EXO-K and EXO-M with Korean and Chinese nationality. The two letters K and M represent the language the two groups perform the song: K stands for Korean (Korean) and M stands for Madarin (Mandarin).
First studio album "XOXO" with ca. The breakthrough song "Growl" won the album of the year category at the "28th Golden Disk Awards" and the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards, being the best-selling album in Korea in 2013.
In In 2014 and 2015, EXO was voted by Forbes magazine as the most influential celebrity in the land of kimchi.
On August 5, 2014, SM Entertainment announced the group's fanclub named "EXO" -L". L stands for "Love" besides that L is also the letter standing between K and M symbolizing the connection between EXO and fans.

  • Jan. 4: The European Union imposes an oil embargo on Iran in an attempt to get Iran to halt uranium enrichment and end its nuclear weapons efforts. Feb. 15: Iran warns six European countries that it might cut them off from Iranian oil. The threat is made to the ambassadors of Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Greece and Portugal at the Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
  • Feb. 1: At least 73 people are killed in a fight between fans of rival teams at a soccer match in Port Said, Egypt.
  • March 4: Vladimir Putin wins the presidential election in Russia, claiming 64% of the vote. It will be his third full term as president of Russia.
