In 1986, Ms. Dieu Thao was selected by the Television Station Ho Chi Minh City invites to participate in the culinary program "Knowledge or make" as a chef and culinary instructor. The program was a great success and was invited to participate in the Festival of Cooking Programs held in France. At this festival, Ms. Dieu Thao made shrimp with coconut water to show an image of Vietnamese family meals. This is also the milestone marking the beginning of her culinary career. With her well-trained culinary knowledge and hard work, research and creativity, Ms. Dieu Thao quickly built her own brand of a "Southern Chef". She is also regularly invited to participate in the program on how to prepare dishes on television. She has been invited as a consultant for many famous culinary restaurants in Saigon such as: Bun ta, Pho ta, WE Lounge, Shabu Kichu, Corner Coffee, WE Restaurant, Que Viet food court, Ngon restaurant 138 ..
In 2004, she and 4 top chefs of Vietnam were invited by the 5-star Kathmandu Hotel (Nepal) to attend the Vietnamese Food Month at this hotel. In 2006, she participated in the food festival program of HungKuang University, Taiwan on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its founding. When participating in this food festival, she had the opportunity to introduce Vietnamese cuisine to international students and friends. In 2007, she was invited to become a lecturer at Saigon University, teaching about Vietnamese culinary culture, cuisines from other countries, Theory of teaching Family Economics, Teaching Methods of Economics subject. In 1979, Ms. Dieu Thao studied Female Engineering at University of Technical Education. In 1983, she graduated from university and was invited to work as a lecturer in tailoring, fashion, flower arrangement, decoration and cooking at the High School of Technical Education in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh. Also around this time, she started to join the Patriotic Intellectuals Association (now the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations), and at the same time taught Fashion Design and cake decorating. In 1993, she decided to pursue a master's degree in education at the School of Education at the Technical Pedagogical University. In 199 she graduated from graduate school. In 2009 and successfully defended the PhD Thesis in Education majoring in Theory and Methods of Teaching Industry at the State Council held at Hanoi National University of Education.
