Who is Comedy writer Bill Finger?
Best known for co-creating the Batman DC Comics character with artist Bob Kane, he also made major contributions to the development of Green Lantern. He was not recognized for his work until after his death, but was awarded posthumous membership in both the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame.
He wrote an episode of the Batman television series and also contributed to the screenplays of The Track of the Moon Beast, The Green Slime, and Death Comes Planet Aytin.

After graduating from The Bronx, DeWitt Clinton High School in New York, he sold shoes before becoming a ghostwriter for Bob Kane's Clip Carson and the Rusty comic strip.
Raised in both Denver, Colorado and New York, New York, he was raised with sisters named Gilda and Emily and is the son of Austrian-born Tessie Finger and Louis Finger. With his first wife, Portia, Bill Finger had a son named Fred; His second marriage was to Lyn Simmons.
