Painter Luong Xuan Nhi is the author of many paintings of young women, landscapes and daily life of Vietnamese people. He was one of the first painters to continue oil painting, his oil paintings are full of Asian qualities. Some of his typical works: silk painting "Resting feet on the stream bank", silk painting "Nuoc Quan by the roadside", oil painting "Bamboo cluster by the bridge", silk painting "Family of fishing boat", silk painting "Girl with a poem hat", oil painting "Palm hill".
His works are displayed in domestic museums such as the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and a number of international treasures such as: Museum of Fine Arts. Museums in Paris, New York, Tokyo... With his dedication to the cause of education, Luong Xuan Nhi was awarded the title of Associate Professor and the title of People's Teacher. In 2001, he received the State Prize for Literature and Art. He appeared in the Vietnam Encyclopedia.
Since 1936, painter Luong Xuan Nhi has had works to participate in domestic and international art exhibitions. When he was still a student at Fine Arts College Indochina, Luong Xuan Nhi was encouraged by the Association for Fine Arts. Indochina Fine Arts awarded the Silver Award in 1935, the Gold Award in 1936, the Premier Prize-Honor Award in 1937 at the SADEAI Exhibition. In 1938, Luong Xuan Nhi's silk painting "Country by the roadside" was collected by the World Headquarters Museum in New York.
In recognition of his contributions, in 1990 he was conferred the title by the State. People's Teacher, awarded the State Prize for Literature and Art (2001) and named in the Vietnam Encyclopedia.
Painter Luong Xuan Nhi passed away on May 25, 2006. in Hanoi.

Painter Luong Xuan Nhi graduated from class 7 at Indochina Fine Arts College.
In 1943 he founded FARTA.
From 1945 to 1946 he was the interim president of Cua Nam neighborhood, Hanoi.
Since 1945 1946 he taught at the Vietnam College of Fine Arts.
In 1947-1948, he was the president of the Cultural Resistance Association Hung Yen Province.
From 1949-1951, he was the General Secretary of the Inter-zone 3 Cultural Association.
From 1955-1981, he lectured. taught at Vietnam Fine Arts University.
From 1983-1989, he was a member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, term 2.
