Nguyen Xuan Khoat is a leading music of the new Vietnamese music scene. He mastered many musical instruments such as violin, piano and especially contrebass. In 1996, musician Nguyen Xuan Khoat was posthumously awarded the State Prize Ho Chi Minh the first phase of literature and art.
In 1938, the first song "Dawn" (poetry by The Lu), was printed on the " Nowadays". In 1942, musician Nguyen Xuan Khoat set music for the poem "Color of Time" by the author Doan Phu Tu . The song became quite popular among the public at that time. He was the main member of the band of Quan Artist in Hanoi, a member of the Music Promotion Association held in Hanoi at that time. During the years of the war, musician Nguyen Xuan Khoat composed many outstanding songs such as Church bells, Unhappiness... After peace, he composed many inspirational songs such as Ta choir Big, Ho contemplating, Lua Thu..
