Soloist and lead dancer best recognized as a member of the American Ballet Singing. Since joining in 2008, he has landed roles in such productions as Don Quixote, The Prodigal Son, and Shadowplay.
One of the few in the industry to advocate for modernization, he has been active on his self-titled YouTube channel in an effort to share about the art of ballet on a larger scale.

His parents, Dmitrij Simkin and Olga Aleksandrova, were both ballet dancers. His mother later became a ballet teacher and his father was a choreographer and set designer.
