In the field of cinema, Huu Tan has proven his ability as a creator and director. He has made many short films with diverse content such as life, family, spirituality, horror... He won the Silver Award at Vietnam Young Lions 2010, the Best Director of the 48H Filmmaking Contest 2017 for the short film "B -Da". Few people know that Huu Tan used to be a delivery worker, a bartender... before he hit the scene. predestined to directing. Currently, he is holding the role of film director and creative director of ProductionQ - Creative House. He has been the storyteller for commercials and TVCs of both domestic and foreign brands for more than 10 years. Huu Tan started out as an intern at Clipper Indochine, then as a Copywriter at XPR (the precursor to today's Phibious), then DDB, RiverOrchid and most recently Hakuhodo Vietnam. After working for a while, he has accumulated a lot of creative experience at the desk and at the studio. However, before embarking on the creative path, he was just a delivery man.

It is known that Huu Tan is the grandson of a famous business family in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City. Every day, in the meal, there are two chicken thighs, Tan is always reserved for one by his grandmother. When the family business went bankrupt, he moved to his grandmother's house to live. The house next door is small, crowded and hot, there are nights when he has to go to the park to sleep. Therefore, he also never attended university. But Huu Tan's learning journey is not in school but in the storms of life. Now, he is a director behind many short films, TVC is loved by many audiences. He also won the best director award at the 24h short film contest and was invited to be a judge of the short film contest HTV Awards 2018.
