Born in 2002 in Ninh Binh, Pham Quang Minh was a student at Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted. During 6 years at Hanoi Medical University, Minh was trained in both theory and practice. In his final year, he and his friends proactively prepared tools to practice early. This is also part of the process of preparing for the medical residency exam, the goal that Minh aims for after completing the university program.
However, even when entering this important exam, Minh did not expect to become the top. About 10 weeks before the exam, he spent most of his time studying. In the morning, you still have to complete the requirements related to the graduation exam, and the remaining time is focused on the boarding exam. Besides consolidating knowledge, Minh focuses on practicing practical skills with his friends.
The serious preparation finally brought results beyond expectations. In the basic test, Minh scored 9.08/10 points. The two specialized exams scored 8.75/10 and 9.17/10 points respectively. The total score of 27/30 helped him top the Dental - Maxillofacial - Facial group and become the valedictorian of the 2026 resident doctor entrance exam in this specialty.
Minh's achievements are even more remarkable when his university graduation result is GPA 7.38/10, ranked Good. Minh himself also set a more realistic goal of reaching the Top 5 in the boarding exam instead of thinking about being the valedictorian. Therefore, when he learned that he had achieved the highest results, this achievement became a big surprise for the young male doctor.
On September 9, 2026, at Match Day 2026 of Hanoi Medical University, Minh was the first person to be named in the Dental - Maxillofacial - Facial group. With the right to choose a major first, he continued to choose Dentistry - Maxillofacial - Facial, officially extending the path he started 6 years ago. If in 2020, this major came to Minh after he did not meet his medical aspirations, then in 2026, he will be the one to proactively choose to continue sticking with the major.
