Before becoming NBC News' senior White House Correspondent in 2014, she hosted the MSNBC Jansing and Company news programs; substitute- anchor both NBC Nightly News and The Today Show; and worked for many years as a reporter and anchor for Albany, New York's WNYT station.
While working for the WNYT, she learned for her New York Insurance Emmy Award of the 1997 Olympic Bombing attempt in Atlanta, Georgia.
