Coach Ngo Quang Truong was born in 1972 in Nghe An. He is a former player of Nghe football, captain of Song Lam Nghe An club when he was still playing. After retiring, this former national player transferred to coaching at different levels at Song Lam Nghe An. He used to lead the first team of Song Lam Nghe An in the 2015-2016 season. After that period, he left the position of captain and returned to youth training.
In April 2018, Coach Ngo Quang Truong was invited by Hai Phong Club to be the technical director under the contract. sectarian form.
