He was the eighth draft overall pick in the 1992 NFL Draft of the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Giants until 2006. He officially announced his retirement in 2007. In November 2011, he was inducted into the Stanford University Hall of Fame. In 2012, he officially received his degree in economics from Stanford.
