Diego Forlan real name is Diego Martín Forlán Corazo, is a famous former Uruguayan football player. He has twice won the European Golden Shoe and the Pichichi award - the award for the player who scored the most goals in La Liga in a season 2004-2005 and 2008-2009, the Ballon d'Or of the year. 2010.
He started his career as a player when he joined the Argentine club Independiente. He quickly showed his ability to play football and was noticed by Manchester United club. However, during two years of playing in the Premier League, he still could not achieve the level of performance he showed at Independiente, so he had to move to Villarreal.
In his first La Liga game for Villarreal. , he scored 25 goals and won the Pichichi title. After two successful seasons at Villareal, he was transferred to Atlético Madrid and won the tournament's top scorer award.
